Steep driveways need extra planning
A lot of lots in Eucalyptus Hills and the surrounding hillside neighborhoods have grades that most people in flatter parts of town never deal with. Drainage has to be factored into every job. If water doesn’t have somewhere to go, it will find its own path, usually through your asphalt.
Spring is the best time to pave, but we work year round
If you’ve got flexibility, late February through May is ideal out here. Temperatures are moderate and the ground is stable. That said, we schedule jobs all year long. We work around your timing.
Access can be tricky in residential areas
Some streets off Lakeshore Drive and up through the hills have tight turning points. We always do a site visit first so there are no surprises on job day. No equipment showing up that doesn’t fit the property.
Permits for bigger jobs
If your project touches public access or involves significant grading near a road, San Diego County may require permits. It’s not complicated but it’s worth knowing upfront. We can walk you through what’s needed.
